3D & DIGITAL ART
I’ve always been a fan of horror, especially creature. Some of the artworks here are based on free 3D models I downloaded and further developed by refining the mesh, UV unwrapping, and texturing in Adobe Substance Painter, followed by lighting and rendering in Autodesk Maya.
CHASING AFTERLIFE is an animated short film directed by Shruti, developed by a six-person team over three months. I worked as the Lead Lighting Artist, shaping the mood, atmosphere, and visual tone of the film. The project has since won awards and has been selected by multiple film festivals.
Alongside lighting, I was also responsible for a selection of environment and asset modeling, as well as texturing and look development. This breakdown reel showcases my process in refining assets and building their final look for the film.

FINEARTS
Before studying digital art in New Zealand, I spent three years learning traditional art in Malaysia, where I practiced handcrafting, watercolor, oil painting, acrylics, calligraphy, ink painting, ceramics, and more.
Although I focus mainly on digital work today, I still create fine art occasionally, whenever inspiration strikes.
FASHION
In 2021, I launched my clothing brand EL ÚNICO, where I hand-customized garments using acrylic paint. The name means “The Only One” in Spanish, highlighting the brand’s concept—every custom piece was unique and never repeated.
Alongside hand-painted items, I also released limited printed T-shirts featuring my own hand-drawn designs.
EL ÚNICO came to an end after a year when I moved to New Zealand to pursue my bachelor’s degree, but it remains a meaningful chapter of my creative journey.
EL ÚNICO was once invited to a Christmas pop-up market showcasing emerging Malaysian artists. I created a few limited edition holiday designs and even performed one of my own songs during the event.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
I also take on freelance graphic design projects, creating name cards, posters, album covers and flyers for various clients.
